Digital Marketing Blueprint
You’re spending on marketing. Do you know what it’s buying?
Most business owners can’t say for certain which marketing dollars bring in customers and which ones just disappear. That isn’t a failing. Nobody ever handed them the plan. The Digital Marketing Blueprint is that plan: a one-time strategy engagement that shows you where to invest, what to stop, and how to measure it.
One-time engagement. You own the plan. No retainer required.

The questions that keep coming back
These are the questions we hear most from business owners in Pikesville, Baltimore, and beyond. If you’ve asked yourself even one of them, you’re in good company.
“Should I be doing SEO, paid ads, social, or all three?”
Every vendor says their channel is the answer. Not every channel is right for every business.
“How much should I actually be spending on marketing?”
Too little and nothing moves. Too much in the wrong place and it’s gone.
“Why does my competitor seem to be everywhere?”
They might have a strategy. They might just have a bigger budget. You can’t tell from the outside.
“My agency sends reports. But are the results actually good?”
Without benchmarks and clear goals, there’s nothing to measure against.
“Is AI search going to leave my business behind?”
Customers now ask ChatGPT and Google’s AI for recommendations. Are you in the answer?
“We get traffic. Why don't we get more leads?”
Traffic without a conversion path is just visitors passing through.
None of these are execution problems. They’re strategy problems, and you can’t solve a strategy problem by spending more.
Your numbers, not ours
What does uncertainty cost you each year?
We won’t throw industry statistics at you. Use your own numbers instead. Set your monthly marketing spend and how confident you honestly are that it’s going to the right places.
The result is simply the share of your budget you can’t confidently account for. What you make of it is up to you.
That's $1,500 a month you can't confidently tie to results.
What it is
A strategy you own, not a retainer you’re locked into
The Digital Marketing Blueprint is a one-time consulting engagement. We act as the experienced marketing strategist most small and mid-sized businesses don’t have in-house, and hand you a written plan built around your goals.
Clarity before spending
Know which channels fit your business, and in what balance, before you commit another dollar. SEO isn’t right for everyone. Neither are paid ads.
Yours to keep, no strings
Implement it in-house, hand it to any agency, or work with us. The plan belongs to you either way. We’ll happily propose on the work, with no obligation.
Built on research, not opinion
Competitor traffic, content, pricing, social, and AI search visibility, all measured side by side with yours, so every recommendation has evidence behind it.

A B2B software company came to us with modest search visibility and few conversions from organic traffic. We started where the Blueprint starts: research. That meant competitor analysis, keyword intent mapping, and a technical audit, all done before a single piece of content was written.
Then we executed against that plan: on-page and technical optimization, four in-depth industry articles, authority building, and optimization for AI assistants.
This is a Cerberus SEO engagement, shown here to illustrate the strategy-first approach behind the Blueprint. It compares the same 18-day window (Sept 1–18) in 2024 and 2026. Client details are withheld for confidentiality.

FAQ
Straight answers
What is a digital marketing blueprint?
A digital marketing blueprint is a one-time strategy engagement. It reviews your business goals, audience, competitors, website, and current marketing, then delivers a written plan that shows which channels to invest in, how to split your budget, what to say, and how to measure results.
Do I have to hire Cerberus to implement it?
No. The Blueprint is a one-time deliverable that you own outright. Implement it in-house, give it to any agency, or work with us. We’ll gladly propose on the work, but there’s no obligation and no retainer attached.
How long does it take?
The Start-Up Blueprint takes about 25 business days, Level 1 about 35, and Level 2 about 45. The clock starts once we receive your completed workshop questionnaire and account access.
Which tier is right for my business?
Start-Up suits businesses under three years old or still pre-revenue. Level 1 suits businesses three to five years old with up to $1M in revenue. Level 2 suits established businesses over five years old with more than $1M in revenue and historical marketing data. The Clarity Check above will recommend a tier based on your answers.
Does it cover AI search like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews?
Yes. Every tier assesses how visible your business is in AI assistants and Google AI Overviews, and how visible your competitors are, so you know where you stand in the fastest-growing search channel.
How is this different from a free marketing audit?
A free audit shows symptoms, like slow pages, missing tags, or thin content. The Blueprint connects your revenue goals to specific channels, budgets, messaging, and KPIs, backed by competitor research. You come away knowing what to do, in what order, and how to measure it.
Stop guessing. Start with a plan.
Whether you take the self-serve check or talk it through with us, you’ll leave with a clearer picture of your marketing than you have today.
